Meet Nizaac Vallejo, painter and drawer.

He studied Visual Arts at the National School of Plastic Arts (UNAM) and has a Master’s Degree in Visual Arts with a specialty in Painting and Drawing from the Postgraduate School of Arts and Design (UNAM).

Currently, he is an Academic in the Visual Arts Degree in the Drawing disciplines of the Faculty of Arts and Design.

Nizaac understands painting as a dynamic process that requires exploring different levels of understanding and experience. His work ranges from representations of everyday life and personal experiences to portraits of historical and contemporary figures, as well as nature. His particular interest focuses on the human body, a topic often censored by contemporary society, especially when it challenges beauty stereotypes.

His work has been selected in Chitrakatha, International Animation Film Festival in Ahmedabad, India, in the XVII Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial, the X and XI National Painting and Engraving Biennial Alfredo Zalce, II UNAM Visual Arts Biennial, Lumen Parameter 04 Art Biennial, VI National Biennial of Visual Arts of Yucatan and also in the XXXIV and XXXVI National Meeting of Young Art.

He has participated in more than 60 collective exhibitions and 7 individual national and international exhibitions. Throughout his career, his work has been exhibited in important museums such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Museum of Modern Art, Rufino Tamayo Museum of Contemporary Art, Alfredo Zalce Museum of Contemporary Art, Museum of the City of Mexico, Museum of Contemporary Art of Oaxaca, Museum of History and Contemporary Art Palacio de Los Gurza, Museum of the City of Querétaro, Foto Museo Cuatro Caminos, Museum of Science and Arts.

As well as in the EXU Gallery, Artspace México Gallery, Arte Actual México Gallery, Casa Galería and in the Luis Nishizawa Gallery. In turn, his work has been presented in countries such as USA, Estonia, Spain, Holland and Italy.
