Catrinas y Calaveras
Galería EXU welcomes Abel Larrauri, Lemonat, Francesco Orazzini, Joaquín Trujillo, Mr. Reese, and Itala Carduño, the selected artists of Catrinas y Calaveras, our first open call for artists.
This exhibition brings together diverse creative voices that reinterpret the symbols of the Day of the Dead through their individual perspectives. Through a variety of techniques and visual languages, their works establish a dialogue between tradition and contemporary art, celebrating the cultural richness and diversity of artistic expressions that shape our Mexican identity.
