Michel C.M.

Michel C.M (Puebla, 1999) is a Mexican visual artist whose work spans painting, drawing, textiles, installation, and performance. He studied Fine Arts at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla and currently lives and works in Mexico City.

His practice is distinguished by a unique textile technique based on transparent fabric layers intervened with paint, watercolor, and aerosol, creating compositions that reflect on globalization, visual excess, and the digital consumption of images. His conceptual approach explores the contemporary “spirit of the times” from a critical perspective.

He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in spaces such as Luz de la Nevera, Museo de la Constancia Mexicana, Galería Impronta, and Soho House CDMX. He has also collaborated as an artistic assistant in large-scale projects for ART BASEL and international museums. In 2024, he was awarded the Creative Futures Collective grant in Mexico City.
