Mónica Acedo
Mónica Acedo is a visual artist and animator from Mexico City whose practice moves between painting and illustration. Her work emerges from the encounter between nature, landscape, Mexican culture, and personal experience.
Influenced by Impressionism, she uses color and stain as her main tools to construct vibrant images that move between observation and imagination. Through portraits and scenes inspired by natural and cultural elements, she explores themes such as identity, memory, and a sense of belonging.
Her work seeks to capture the beauty of both real and imagined spaces, conveying an emotional connection with the surrounding environment.
