Nizaac Vallejo
Nizaac Vallejo studied Visual Arts at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas (UNAM) and completed a Master’s degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in Painting and Drawing at the Graduate Program in Arts and Design (UNAM).
From 2015 to 2016, he was part of the Jóvenes Creadores program of FONCA, in the Painting category.
His work has been selected for the Chitrakatha International Animation Film Festival in Ahmedabad, India; the XVII Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial; the 10th and 11th National Alfredo Zalce Biennial of Painting and Printmaking; the 2nd UNAM Visual Arts Biennial; the Lumen Art Biennial: Parámetro 04; the 6th National Visual Arts Biennial of Yucatán; as well as the 34th and 36th National Young Art Encounter.
He has participated in over 60 group exhibitions and 7 solo shows, both nationally and internationally.
Throughout his career, his work has been exhibited in major museums, including:
the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Museo de Arte Moderno, Museo Rufino Tamayo de Arte Contemporáneo, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Alfredo Zalce, Museo de la Ciudad de México, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Oaxaca, Museo de Historia y Arte Contemporáneo Palacio de los Gurza, Museo de la Ciudad de Querétaro, Foto Museo Cuatro Caminos, and the Museo de Ciencias y Artes.
His work has also been shown at Galería EXU, Galería Artspace México, Galería Arte Actual México, Casa Galería, and the Luis Nishizawa Gallery.
Internationally, his work has been presented in countries such as the USA, Estonia, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy.
